DMF-Z-20 Right-Angle Electromagnetic Pulse Valve The electromagnetic pulse valve (also known as a diaphragm valve) serves as the compressed air “switch” for the pulse-jet cleaning system in pulse-jet baghouse dust collectors. Controlled by signals from the pulse-jet control instrument, it sequentially performs pulse-jet cleaning on filter bags by row (or compartment), maintaining the dust collector's resistance within a preset range to ensure its processing capacity and dust collection efficiency.

Structural Features:

DMF-Z-20 is a right-angle electric pulse solenoid valve. Its structural features are as follows:

Right-angle design: The inlet and outlet form a 90° angle, ensuring smooth airflow and suitability for installation between air tanks and dust collector blow pipes.

Key Components: Includes an electromagnetic head, diaphragm, valve body, and spring. The valve body is made of alloy aluminum, while the diaphragm typically features a nitrile rubber fabric-reinforced structure, offering wear resistance and high sealing performance.

Connection Method: Features a G3/4" connection thread with a nominal diameter of 20mm.

Diaphragm Actuation: Operated by pneumatic pressure differential. When energized, the solenoid head opens the relief port to vent rear chamber pressure, allowing front chamber gas to lift the diaphragm for blowback. Upon de-energization, the spring resets to close the orifice, restoring the sealed state.

Working Principle:

DMF-Z-20 Right-Angle Electromagnetic Pulse Valve The diaphragm divides the electromagnetic pulse valve into front and rear air chambers. When compressed air is supplied, it enters the rear chamber through the throttle orifice. At this point, the rear chamber pressure forces the diaphragm assembly to seal the valve outlet, placing the electromagnetic pulse valve in the “closed” state.

An electrical signal from the pulse jet control instrument causes the valve armature to retract. This opens the exhaust port in the rear chamber, rapidly depressurizing it. The diaphragm assembly moves backward, allowing compressed air to jet through the valve outlet. The valve enters the “open” state.

When the electrical signal from the pulse jet controller ceases, the armature of the electromagnetic pulse valve resets. The exhaust port of the rear chamber closes, and the pressure in the rear chamber increases, forcing the diaphragm assembly to seal tightly against the valve outlet. The electromagnetic pulse valve returns to the “closed” state.
