From One Sample to a Full Order: Our Custom HEPA Filter Project for a U.S. Client

As of August 2026, Qingdao Star Machine Technology Co., Ltd. has received a large HEPA filter order from a U.S. customer who first requested a sample in 2025. The order began with one filter on our workbench.

The first sample was the start, not the finish

The customer sent us an existing HEPA filter and asked for a matching replacement. Our team made a free prototype. When the buyer requested changes, we adjusted the product according to the original sample and feedback, then sent the revised version for evaluation.

After confirming the updated design, the customer returned in 2026 with a bulk order. The order was good news. Better still, the customer remembered who had taken the first small request seriously.

Why does independent testing matter for HEPA filters?

A HEPA label should describe measurable performance, not box decoration. The U.S. EPA explains that a conventional HEPA filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles measuring 0.3 microns. Each custom product still needs an agreed, verified requirement.
